Thank you for choosing to work with Animals of the Earth. My intention is to create a supportive, respectful, and compassionate experience for both you and your animal. The following information helps ensure that our work together is clear, comfortable, and beneficial for everyone involved.

My Approach

All services offered by Animals of the Earth are complementary in nature and are designed to support wellbeing, connection, relaxation, and individual choice. Sessions are guided by the animal's responses and preferences, honouring their unique nature and allowing space for their own choices to shape the experience.

My services are not intended to diagnose, treat, prescribe for, or cure any medical or behavioural condition and should not be considered a substitute for veterinary care.

Veterinary Care

If your animal is unwell, has a diagnosed medical condition, or is receiving veterinary treatment, you should continue to work closely with your veterinary surgeon.

For certain services, particularly bodywork massage, a veterinary referral or consent may be required before treatment can take place.

Consultation Forms

Prior to your first session, you will be asked to complete a consultation form. Please ensure that all information provided is accurate and up to date, including any medical conditions, medications, behavioural concerns, and veterinary history relevant to your animal.

Appointments

Appointments will be arranged following receipt and review of your consultation form. Session times are agreed in advance and every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred dates where possible.

Please ensure your animal is available and in a suitable calm environment for the session to take place.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice where possible.

I understand that emergencies can arise and will always do my best to be accommodating. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require payment in advance for future bookings.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking or on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed.

Details of accepted payment methods will be provided when your appointment is confirmed.

Remote Sessions

For remote sessions, a recent photograph of your animal may be requested before the appointment.

Following the session, any written reflections will be sent electronically or via post. Where a bespoke flower essence blend is included, this will be posted to the address provided. Please note that there is an additional £5 P&P charge unless stated otherwise and included within the price.

Natural Materials and Self-Selection

During Applied Zoopharmacognosy sessions, animals are offered natural materials on a voluntary self-selection basis. Animals are never forced to engage with any material and are free to participate as little or as much as they choose within reason.

Any suggestions for continuing work between sessions are offered as guidance only and should always be carried out responsibly and under appropriate supervision.

Client Responsibility

You remain responsible for your animal's welfare, care, and veterinary treatment at all times.

Any information, observations, suggestions, or guidance provided during sessions are intended to support your understanding of your animal and should not replace professional veterinary advice.

Confidentiality

All information shared during consultations and sessions will be treated with respect and confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

Respecting the Journey

Every animal is an individual, and every session is unique. As this work is guided by the animal's responses, preferences, and choices, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. My commitment is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive space in which animals and their guardians can explore well-being, connection, and understanding together.
